Ancient Alien Warrior

Here is a concept that I did for a weekly topic on the Hybrid Collective blog.

I started this guy with only the intention that I wanted him to have heroic proportions. Sometimes I like to work without many intentions regarding the design and the final product. This way It does not put pressure on the design you and you can really experiment and surprise yourself.

A few days before I painted this I had watched an episode of River Monsters about sting rays and sharks. This can be clearly seen in the spike appendages on the back and the shape of the head. I also see some influences from Avatar and District 9, almost a mish-mash of the two.

slime zombie experiment

I never really color any ink drawing digitally. So I decided to color this old ink sketch on my spare time, experimenting with different ways of coloring things i guess. I could push it more but I'm not sure if I'll get back to this piece. The end result of putting it on the web is very desaturated(gotta get better at that).

Puzzle Pond

One of the I-Pod games I worked on at Little Guy Games was released today. It feels good to finally see it on the app store after months of hard work. Here is a link to the game on the app store: Puzzle Pond. Check it out and drop a review if your feeling the love.

Hollow Earth Sketch

Here is an unfinished painting I just found, which was created for my hollow earth project.
